Lalita Nand Memorial Pragya Foundation is a not-for-profit company incorporated in India on 17 September 2025 under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Using this site

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using it.

Use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it, gain access you have not been given, or use it in a way that infringes anyone else's rights.

Donations

• Every donation is allocated to one of our named programmes, and we tell the donor which one.
• Donations above ₹25,000 receive a written note on where the money went and what changed, within ninety days.
• No payment gateway is connected to this site. Donations reach us by UPI or bank transfer and are reconciled by hand, so allow a few working days for confirmation.
• All amounts on this site are in Indian rupees.

Tax receipts

We do not yet hold 80G registration, so we cannot currently give you a receipt that carries a tax deduction. Until this page says otherwise, please do not treat any acknowledgement from us as an 80G certificate.

Refunds and cancellations

A donation is a gift, and is not normally refunded. But payments here are made by hand rather than through a gateway, and mistakes happen. If you sent money in error, or sent the wrong amount, email us within thirty days with the transaction details and we will return it wherever the money has not already been committed to a programme.

Gifts in kind cannot be returned. They are distributed in the communities we work in.

Content on this site

The text, design and photographs here belong to the foundation or are used with permission. You may quote or reproduce parts of it for personal, educational or other non-commercial purposes as long as you credit us. Commercial use needs our written permission first.

Newspaper clippings shown on this site remain the copyright of the publications that produced them, and appear here only as a record of coverage of our work.

Accuracy and availability

We keep this site as accurate as we can, and we publish our figures honestly, including when they are small. Even so, the site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, free of errors, or uninterrupted.

Liability

So far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, or from not being able to use it.

Links to other sites

We are not responsible for the content of sites we link to, or for what those organisations do with information you give them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Jamui, Bihar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
