A new foundation, rooted deep

Knowledge is the root.
Dignity is the fruit.

ज्ञान ही जड़ है, सम्मान ही फल है।

We work across education, health, nature and dignity of labour — fifteen focus areas held together by one idea: that a community rises when its knowledge, its health and its self-respect rise together.

हमारा उद्देश्य · Our Mission

To carry forward the memory of Lalita Nand by building pragya — practical wisdom — in the communities we serve: teaching those the system left behind, guarding health and habitat, and restoring dignity to work that goes unseen.

कार्यक्षेत्र · Areas of Work

Five pillars, fifteen programmes

Each programme carries its own name in the language of the people it serves. Together they form a single approach to community development.

शिक्षा

Education

Literacy has no age limit and no address. We teach adults who never got the chance, children pulled into work, and rural students the system underserves.

  • Jab Tak Saans, Tab Tak Shiksha Adult Education
  • Shiksha Se Safalta Quality Education for Rural Students
  • Pragya Path: Dhong Aur Pakhand Se Doori Wisdom for Scientific Temper
  • Majboori Nahi, Majbooti Eradicating Child Labour

आरोग्य

Health

Most illness in the communities we serve is preventable, and most prevention is a matter of knowing. We run camps, awareness drives and recovery support.

  • Yoga Se Arogya Towards a Healthy India
  • Health Is Wealth Health Awareness and Support
  • Nasha Mukti, Tarakki Ki Chabhi De-addiction: The Key to Progress
  • Sehat Hi Asli Jeevansathi Hai Sports for Health, Sports for Self

प्रकृति

Nature & Life

Environment work is not separate from human welfare. Trees, animals and disaster preparedness all decide how a village survives a bad year.

  • Prakriti Rakshati Rakshita Protecting Nature for Our Existence
  • Soul of the Soil The Animal's Last Right
  • Satarkta Hi Suraksha Hai Working for Disaster Risk Reduction
  • Swachhata Hi Divyata Hai Sanitation as Spiritual Practice

सम्मान

Dignity of Labour

Work that goes unnamed goes unpaid and unprotected. We push for recognition of manual workers and of the women whose labour never enters the ledger.

  • Shramev Jayate Dignity of Labour
  • Grihini Nahi, Rashtra Nirmata Recognition of Homemakers and Women-Led Development

अन्य

Others

Not everything a foundation does divides neatly into four. Civic occasions, one-off relief, requests from the panchayat and the work of simply existing as an organisation all land here rather than being forced into a pillar they do not fit.

कार्यशैली · How we work

Small, local, and accountable

We start where we can be present

No programme is launched further than we can visit regularly. Presence is the only real form of accountability.

The name comes from the community

Each programme is named in the language people actually speak, because a programme nobody can name is a programme nobody owns.

Every rupee is attached to a programme

Donations are allocated to a named area of work, and the outcome is reported back to the donor.

Partner with us

For companies looking to place CSR funds where they are seen

We are a young organisation, which means your contribution shapes what gets built rather than topping up what already exists. Every rupee is tied to a named programme and reported back.

Named programmes

Fund one of the fifteen areas of work outright, with your name attached to it if you wish.

Employee volunteering

Camps, plantation drives and teaching days your teams can join on a fixed weekend.

Written reporting

Photographs, attendance records and expenditure statements for every contribution.
